All hearing aids offered by Maytone Center considering their size can be divided into following types:
Completely-in-the-Canal (CIC) - This style is the smallest type of hearing aids made and are almost invisible in the ear. They are therefore perfect for people who want a discreet and comfortable hearing solution. All the components are housed in a small case that fits far into the ear canal.
In-the-Canal (ITC) / Canal hearing instruments - A little bigger than the CIC/MIC, the ITC hearing aids also fit far into the ear canal and provide a very cosmetic solution that will be hidden almost totally in the ears. It is user-friendly, economic in use and has a full fitting scale and therefore suits almost every kind of partial deafness.
In-the-Ear (ITE) hearing instruments - These hearing aids can be used for a wider range of hearing losses. Due to their larger size, ITEs hearing aids can accommodate larger sound amplifiers. They are also easier to handle. It can be found both in computer-programmable and digital versions which guarantees best fitting available for deeper hearing losses.
Behind-The-Ear hearing instruments (BTE) - In BTE hearing aids, the electronics are housed in a case that fits behind the ear. They are provided in case of greater hearing losses when it is impossible to fit in-the-ear hearing aid. The BTE hearing aids can be also found in micro BTE versions, with are higly recomended for those who prefers modern and stylish design.
